Atelier Cutting Corners is a small woodworking shop operated by Max, a dreamer and maker.
Max grew up on a farm outside Ottawa, where he learned to respect and cherish natural resources. Environmental stewardship forms part of his woodworking. He endeavours to use quality hardwoods sourced from responsibly managed forests.
Max marries modern-contemporary styles to create smart and functional furniture at Atelier Cutting Corners while also delivering quality craftsmanship to meet varied aspirations and wishes to create beautiful and inviting spaces.
When Max is not making wood things, he is a full-time city planner and proud papa of Edgar.
